In accordance with the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the General Office of the National Development and Reform Commission, the General Office of the Ministry of Ecological Environment, on Prohibiting the Increase of Foundry Capacity in Key Regions (joint installation by the Department of Industry and Information Technology[2019]44号）According to the requirements of the Implementation Measures for theManagement of Casting Capacity Replacement in Anhui Province (Provisional) (WJXH [2001] No. 126), the capacity replacement plan for the casting project of Anhui Hangqi Casting and Forging Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Anhui Casting and Forging) was successfully announced on the official website of the Anhui Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology on March 7, 2023!

Anhui Casting and Forging Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Hangzhou Automobile Casting and Forging Co., Ltd. Due to the needs of enterprise development, it is planned to build a new project in Fanchang, which produces 40000 tons of steam turbine core parts forging blanks and 15000 tons of steam turbine core parts precision intelligent steel casting processing production line. The project has a total investment of 600 million yuan and covers an area of about 237 mu. The first phase, with an investment of about 300 million yuan and an area of 136 mu, is planned to commence in May 2023 and be put into production by the end of 2024. Mainly involved in the production of steel castings and forging processes; Phase II covers an area of 101 mu, mainly including forging, processing, finishing, and precision processing processes. The project will follow the concept of high starting point and high-quality development, implement the construction of "intelligent manufacturing+green manufacturing", adopt advanced casting processes, supporting automation, and intelligent casting equipment, and mainly produce high-end core casting and forging products urgently needed by the steam turbine industry

The construction of the Anhui Fanchang project conforms to industry development trends and requirements, creating favorable conditions for the high-quality development of casting and forging companies in the future, resource integration, technical equipment upgrading, and truly moving towards a clean and efficient, energy-saving, emission reduction, and sustainable new industrialization path. The project is expected to become a pioneer and demonstration area in the high-end casting industry in Zhejiang and Anhui regions, and promote the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta with the new model of "intelligent manufacturing+green manufacturing".
