The predecessor of the company is a joint-stock enterprise controlled by Hangzhou Steam Turbine Co., Ltd., which was established in 1958 and is a subsidiary of Hangzhou Steam Turbine Co., Ltd., with its casting steel, cast iron, mold, rough machining workshop, and forging heat treatment workshop restructured and established in 2004.

The company currently has more than 380 employees, including 83 management and technical personnel, 5 employees with senior professional titles, 29 technicians, and nearly 200 technical workers.
